Without the innovative spirit of the founding fathers and the entrepreneurial risk they took in the early years, SIOS would not be what it is today: a TOP 100 innovator. SIOS is proud to have preserved and continued the innovative spirit of the company founders - which is impressively proven by the repeated award as TOP 100-Innovator.
Many SIOS products still benefit from the ideas of the early days, but all of them are subject to constant further development. When it comes to solving current measurement tasks, SIOS can draw on its many years of technical expertise. The new development of standard devices, but especially the realization of customer-specific projects in the OEM area as well as the construction of individual single measuring systems requires a high innovation effort. It is therefore not surprising that 28 percent of the workforce is employed in the development department, and that SIOS thus has a comparatively large number of developers on its staff.
The basis of all innovation activities is the close cooperation of all company divisions. This is the only way to successfully transfer applied science to marketable products, including their manufacture in SIOS' own industrial production. From the very beginning, the essential idea is how the innovative edge gained can be shared with many customers.
“The know-how of my 43 employees starts where others resign. We also accept the orders that are too demanding for other companies in the industry,” reports Managing Director Dr. Denis Dontsov. “Most of the time, we solve very specific customer problems that require an extremely high level of consulting. “ *
“However, during the Corona period,” continues Dr. Dontsov, “both the management and our staff had to show great flexibility and willingness to change. The main issue here was how we could maintain or even further optimize business operations despite all the restrictions, for example, with the help of new communication channels, through modern agile processes, modified target group approaches and the like. That is why our special thanks at this point go to the actual innovators - our SIOS employees. They have managed to combine childcare, homeschooling, shifting working hours, home office, research, development, production and customer orientation every day anew.”
The entire SIOS team is delighted about the appreciation in the form of the awarded TOP 100 seal.
