An international jury, headed by the Institute Director of the ITO, Prof. Osten, elected the award winner. The laudation was held by Prof. Yamaguchi from Japan, the winner in 2013. We sincerely congratulate Prof. Jäger on this high award.
Then the ITO Nano-Lab was opened. The main device of the laboratory is the nanopositioning and nanomeasuring machine NPMM-200. This was developed and manufactured by the TU Ilmenau. SIOS has supplied essential components and has carried out installation and adjustment work.
