SIOS is not only one of the leading manufacturers of laser interferometric measurement systems but also one of the most important European suppliers of stabilized He-Ne lasers as metrological light sources with highly stable wavelengths. With the Nanopositioning and Nanomeasuring Machine NMM-1 we also supply the world's most accurate positioning system and are thus the sole market leader.
For 30 years now, we have been offering high-quality standard sensors, customer-specific product developments as well as individual OEM solutions, for example for the fields of research & development, calibration, mechanical engineering, optics and semiconductor industry, medical technology, nanometrology and geoscience.
In the early years of our company's history our focus was primarily on the requirements of scientific institutions and testing institutes. In more recent years both areas –science and industry– have become equally important to our company.
In the scientific environment of universities the reliability, stability and high accuracy of SIOS interferometers are required for work on a wide range of research projects. National calibration laboratories around the world also work with SIOS products to implement national calibration specifications.
In the industrial environment, the individual SIOS solutions for specific customer requirements are particularly appreciated.
