On a Mikromat machine tool, the diagonal measurement to determine the squarness of machine axes was realized and presented to the expert audience. The new laser interferometer of SP-NG series will be used for this purpose. It is modular designed and easy to adjust and to handle. In conjunction with the new InfasMTCAL software, it delivers highly accurate measurement results and correction values for the machine tool in short time.
