The award was officially announced on February 1, 2025. The award ceremony will take place on June 27, 2025 in the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz. There, science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar, a long-time mentor of the competition, will personally present the trophy to the SIOS management.
Innovation needs a strong team
The basis for the award is a demanding, scientifically sound selection process. Innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examine the applicants on the basis of more than 100 criteria in five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.
"The renewed award is a confirmation of our innovative spirit, but above all a recognition of the great work of our entire team," says Dr. Denis Dontsov, Managing Director of SIOS. "This success would not be possible without the dedication and unique expertise of our employees. They are the ones who bring our innovative strength to life every day."
Around 28% of the workforce works in development - an impressive proportion that underlines SIOS' strong focus on research and development. A high level of vertical integration and agile processes make it possible to quickly put innovative ideas into practice and react flexibly to new requirements.

For SIOS, the renewed award as a TOP 100 Innovator is not only a confirmation of its success to date, but also an incentive for the future. "We will continue to push boundaries, set new standards and support our customers with innovative, sustainable and high-precision measuring systems," says Dr. Dontsov.
