The business trip offered German suppliers of high-quality robotics and artificial intelligence in the semiconductor, automotive and electronics industries the opportunity to get to know the Korean market and establish new business contacts. The project was supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).
During the business trip, Dr. Dontsov had the opportunity to present our company and our high-precision metrology technology to a selected Korean audience at an excellently organized presentation event and then to conduct contact talks with the foreign participants.
The focus of the five-day trip was on individually arranged one-on-one meetings with local cooperation partners and business contacts. Selected visits to the headquarters of potential business partners offered the opportunity to expand one's own network and to establish new contacts for SIOS.
“For me, it was exciting to gain a new business perspective on the technology nation of South Korea and to gain insights into the market and business practices of selected companies. South Korea has established itself as a global innovation leader in the world economy, ranking fifth in the United Nations Global Innovation Index (GII) in 2021. Therefore, I am confident that together with the newly established contacts, we will be able to support the increasing demands of Korean high-tech companies for higher precision in manufacturing with our laser interferometric measurement systems” Dr. Denis Dontsov personally concludes.
